It is a slightly more challenging Surya Namaskar practice than the Gentle Curated Surya Flow and incorporates more muscle work which consequences as a more strengthening and muscle lengthening practice. By regular practice of this sequence we learn to expand our awareness of the body and the energies within. It is very important to remember that this practice can also be an active meditation if all the concentration is turned toward the breath and movement. You are developing ekagratha which is one-pointedness of mind. I recommend to practice this flow with different concentration methods – only on breath or only on movement. Be gentle to your body – if any move is challenging divide the practice in parts and practice each asana separately, yet keep the focus active. The benefits will come at ease. 

Props: Blocks – could be used under arms in uttanasana or adho Mukha Svanasana.
