This practice introduces a variation of the popular Yoga warm up practice sequence called Surya Namaskar (Sun salutation). It is a practice made to be as a building block for the full Surya Namaskar as it includes easier variations as well as friendlier pace. To embrace the full experience of this practice one should be doing at least 12 rounds of the flow. However, it can be practiced as separate asanas until one gains confidence. Sun salutation is made to sync the body cycle with so called your inner solar cycle. By simply repeating the same sequence a number of times your body will introduce a muscular vibration and liveliness throughout all body and will feel energised for the whole day. It engages all the muscles in your body, gently stretches and strengthens them.
Props: Blocks – could be used under arms in uttanasana or Adho Mukha Svanasana.
